Al Wehda announced the signing of French player Youssouf Niakate to strengthen the team's offensive line during the current summer transfer period.

The club issued a statement saying: "The management of the unit is officially contracted with the French striker Joseph Niakate from the team of Belgian Chelouzi for three years."

The 26-year-old has played in several clubs, notably Gilloise, Belgium, Poulton, Creteil and Abranche of France.

The player is characterized by strength, speed, skill and proficiency of payment and registration with both feet, and contested 40 games last season, scoring 25 goals
