Round 19: A-Hilal retain six-point lead .. Al-Ittihad fail to earn first home win



The Round 19 of Prince Mohammed bin Salman League for Professionals saw Al-Hilal maintain their 6-point gap at the top of the Saudi Professional League, over Al-Nasr the second.
Al-Hilal beat Al-Batin 3-2 with a last-gasp winner from Bafetimbi Gomis, while Al-Nasr kicked off the round games, with a 3-1 win over Al-Qadsya.
Al-Ahli displaced Al-Shabab to take the third place, with 36 points after beating Al-Hazm 4-2, taking advantage of A-Shabab 1-0 loss to Al-Fateh.
Al-Wahda returned to the fifth place on the table with 31 points, after overcoming Al-Raed 3-1, to score two wins over Al-Raed in a single season for the first time, in their meetings in the Saudi Pro League.
Al-Fateh became the 8th, after reaching 25 points, with a 1-0 over Al-Shabab to extend their lossless run against Al-Shabab, to five matches.
The last time Al-Shabab beat Al-Fateh was in 2016, with a 2-0 victory.
Al-Taween, Al-Faisaly, Al-Qadsya and Al-Raed dropped to 6th, 9th, 10th and 11th, respectively.
Al-Hazm, Al-Batin, Al-Fayhaa, Al-Ittihad and Ohod kept the places from the 12th to the 16th.
Al-Hilal extended their scoring streak to 19 games, 6 games behind the record of Al-Ahli, with 25 matches.
Al-Itihad kept their cleen sheet run for the fourth game in a row, although they earned only 5 points from 30 points in 10 matches at their home, this season.
Al-Ittihad 0-0 draw with Al-Taween was the first goalless draw, in their clashes in the Saudi Pro League.
For their part, Ohod scored the biggest victory in their history in the Saudi Pro League, by beating Al-Faisaly 4-1.
433 goals were scored in the first 19 rounds, with a ratio of 2.85 goals per match.
Gomis reached 15 goals to top the goalscorers' list, two goals ahead of Al-Ahli's strikers, Omar El-Somah and Djaniny Tavares, while Al-Taween's Leandre Tawamba comes 4th with 12 goals.
Al-Hilal trio, Abdalla Otyaf, Milos and Mohamed Kino, came on the top of the best passers list in the round, with 102, 84 and 83 accurate passes, in a row.
