Al-Ittifaq V Al-Faisaly the most exciting.. 9 teams struggle in mid-table



7 teams retained their places on the table of Prince Mohammed Bin Salman League for Professionals, while the other nine teams' positions were changed.
Al-Hilal, the leaders with 49 points, retained the six-point gap with Al-Nasr the second, after the two teams won in the opening day of the 20th matchday over Al-Qadsya and Al-Ahli respectively.
The clubs in the bottom of the table, Al-Hazm (22 points), Al-Batin (18 points), Al-Fayhaa (16 points), Al-Ittihad (15 points) and Ohod (12 points) kept their places from the 12th to the 16th.
Al-Shabab moved up to the 3rd spot after reaching 37 points, while Al-Ahli dropped to 4th after staying at 36 points.
Al-Taween climbed to the 5th place with 33 points, while Al-Wahda dropped to 6th with 31 points after their 1-0 loss to Al-Shabab.
Al-Fateh and Al-Faisaly became the 7th and 8th in a row, while Al-Ittifaq became 9th with 27 points, Al-Raed moved up to 10th with 24 points and Al-Qadsya dropped to 11th spot with 23 point.
Al-Raed and Al-Fayhaa are the only teams without wins in 2019 after 5 weeks.
459 goals were scored in 160 SPL matches with a ratio of 2.87 goals per match.
Al-Hilal is the most scoring team with 51 goals, after extending their scoring streak to 20 games in a row. Al-Ahli and Al-Taween come second in the list of the teams with the most goals with 42 goals for each team, while Ohod is the team with the fewest goals with scoring only 15 goals, followed by Al-Batin with 19 goals then Al-Fayhaa with 20 goals.
Al-Hilal became the first team in the league to score more than 50 goals in the first 20 weeks.
Al-Hilal scored this record previously in 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 seasons.
Ohod now have the worst defense after receiving 42 goals, followed by Al-Fayhaa (38 goals) and in the third place Al-Batin with conceding 36 goals.
For their part, Al-Shabab have the best defense with conceding only 13 goals, while Al-Nasr come second on the list of best defense with conceding 16 goals, as they are the only teams to receive less than 20 goals this season.
Al-Hilal's Bafetimbi Gomis leads list of SPL top scorers with 16 goals, followed by Al-Ahli's Omar El-Somah who scored 14 goals and in the third place with 13 goals lie Al-Ahli's Djaniny Tavares, Al-Nasr's Abderazak Hamdallah, Al-Taween's Leandre Tawamba and Al-Ittifaq's Cristian Guanca.
Mohamed El-Siriey is the best Saudi goal scorer in the league with 10 goals and followed by Al-Ittihad's Fahd El-Moled with 8 goals.
Al-Nasr's Nordin Amrabat and Al-Hilal's Gomis share are the players with the most assists with 7 goals for each one, they are followed by Al-Nasr's Hamdallah, Al-Faisaly's Luisnho and Al-Ahli's El-Somah with 6 goals for each one.
Al-Shabab's Nasser El-Shamrani and Al-Hazm's Khaled El-Baraka are the Saudi players with the most assists with 4 goals for each one.
For his part, former Junventus striker Sebastian Giovinco made his debut against Al-Qadsya, as he needed only twenty minutes to score his first goal in Al-Hilal's 4-1 win.
Al-Ittifaq game against their visitors Al-Faisaly was the most exciting game, as the away team turned the game around in the last minutes by scoring 3 goals to convert their 3-1 loss to a 4-3 win.
Al-Taween's Abdel Fatah Adam became the 8th player to score a hat-trick this season after Hamdallah for Al-Nasr against Al-Raed, Al-Ahli's Tavares who scored 5 goals against Ohod, Al-Nasr's Ahmed Mousa who socred three goals versus Al-Qadsya, El- Siriey who scored a hat-trick for Al-Hazm agaisnt Ohod, Leandre Tawama from Al-Taween against Al-Fayhaa, Al-Ahli's El-Somah versus Al-Hilal and Al-Ittifaq's Guanca against Al-Fayhaa.
