Al-Shabab overcame Al-Faisaly 2-1 at Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Stadium.
Bubacar Trawally and Moubarak Boussoufa scored Al-Shabab goals in the 17th and 75th minutes before Luisinho closed the gap from a penalty kick in the 82nd minute.
Al-Shabab now have 43 points in the third place while Al-Faisaly stayed with 30 points in the 8th spot.
At King Abdullah Sport City Stadium, in Buraidah, AL-Taween overcame Al-Raed 2-1 in Al-Qassim derby.
Saleh El-Shehri put Al-Raed in front after 53 minutes, but Rabie Sofiani leveled one minute before the final whistle before netting the winner in injury time.
AL-Taween reached 42 points in the 4th place while Al-Raed's total frozen at 25 points in the 10th place.
Sofiani's first goal became the 500th goal of SPL 2018-2019 season.
