SPL round 25 matches to be played under the motto "I respect intellectual property rights"

Saudi Pro League Association concluded the preparations to launch set of activities and awareness messages concerning intellectual property rights, in cooperation with Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, SAIP.
These activities will be held during Prince Mohamed Bin Salman League for Professionals round 25, under the motto "I respect intellectual property rights".
The authority and the association prepared through a joint team several text and visual messages؛ will be displayed on the stadiums' monitors, while Al-Hilal game with Al-Nasr will witness various events inside and outside King Fahd International Stadium including interactive wings for fans to introduce intellectual property areas.
The association and the authority target through these events to make the society aware of and respect intellectual property rights, in particular the rights of the sporting clubs as the association and the authority seek to save the clubs' intellectual property rights and make the fans aware of saving, developing and fostering these rights in line with the best relevant international and national practices to contribute in increasing the incomes of the clubs.
An agreement has been signed last December between Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP) and Saudi Professional League, to activate a joint and permanent cooperation between the clubs, SPL and sectors of government related to intellectual property rights as SPL is the responsible for marketing and organizing Prince Mohamed Bin Salman League for Professionals.
For its part, SAIP is considered the authority concerned with organizing intellectual property fields in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in addition to supporting, developing, fostering, protecting, applying and promoting these rights.
It must be noted that, The World Intellectual Property Organization, WIPO, had designated 26 April, to be the intellectual property day, in sport.
Consequently, this year's motto is "Power of sport is in participating, aspiring, innovating and uniting all of us for pushing the boundaries of the humanitarian achievement.”
