At the closure of SPL matchday 26: Al-Nasr reatin leadership .. Al-Ahli beat Al-Shabab



Al-Nasr retained the leadership of Prince Mohamed Bin Salman League for Professionals, by the end of the 26th round after reaching 61 points, one point ahead of Al-Ahilal the second on the table.
The leaders overcame Al-Raed with five goals without reply, on the other hand, Al-Hilal beat Al-Hazm 3-2.
Al-Shabab remained third with 47 points in spite of suffering a heavy 4-0 defeat to Al-Ahli, in the summit of the round, followed by Al-Taween the 4th with 46 points ahead of Al-Ahli the fifth on goal difference.
Al-Wahda moved up to the 6th spot after reaching 39 points while Al-Faisaly with 37 points, dropped seventh after their 1-1 draw with Al-Fateh.
In the middle of the table, Al-Fateh the 8th place with 34 points, Al-Ittifaq the 9th with 32 points and Al-Raed the tenth with 31 points kept their places, while AL-Qadsya jumped to the 11th place after reaching 27 points, by beating Ohod 4-2, ahead of Al-Hazm the 12th on goal difference.
Al-Ittihad remained 13th with 25 points after beating Al-Batin 4-1, while AL-Fayhaa jumped to the 14th place ahead Al-Ittihad on goal difference, followed by Al-Batin and Ohod in the 15th and 16 places in a row.
Ohod is the only team to not to record any away win, as they drawn 4 times and lost 9 times.
Al-Ittihad recorded their biggest win in the season over Al-Batin 4-0, while Al-Shabab received four goals for the first time this season against Al-Ahli.
The round witnessed scoring the 600th goal of the season via Al-Wahda's Ahmed Abdou against Al-Ittifaq.
Al-Nasr's Abdel Razik Hamdalla scored the 12th hat-trick of the season to set a new record for this edition of Saudi Professional League by breaking the record of 2010-2011 season with 11 hat-tricks.
Hamdalla became the first player in SPL history to score three goals or more in three matches in one season.
Hamdalla overtook Omar Al-Somah and Nasser Al-Shamrani in the list of the players with the most contributions in goals in a season, with 31 goals.
Al-Qadsya's Bismark Ferrera became the best Brazilian striker in the last two seasons of the league with 19 goals.
Bafetmbi Gomis became the best foreign striker in Al-Hilal history in one season by reaching 19 goals.
Al-Nasr's Abdel Razek Hamdalla stays atop goal scorers list, with 25 goals, followed by Al-Hilal's Gomis and Al-Taween's Leandre Tawamba with 19 goals for each, then Al-Somah and Djaniny Tavares with 16 goals for each.
