Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Patronizes the Finals of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Soccer Cup



The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud patronized at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh this evening the finals of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Soccer Cup for the current sports season which is being held between Al-Ta'awon and Al-Ettihad teams.
Upon arrival at the venue, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was received by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense; Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Chairman of the General Authority for Sports and Chairman of the Saudi Olympic Committee; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; Prince Fahd bin Juluwe bin Musaed, Member of the Saudi Olympic Committee; senior officials of the General Authority for Sports and chairman and members of board of directors of the Saudi Football Federation.
Immediately after the arrival of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the main podium, he was warmly welcomed by the fans of the sport and he exchanged greetings with them and then the royal anthem was played.
After that, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques shook hands with guests of the final match: Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ayman Tawfiq Al-Moayed; President of the African Football Confederation Ahmed Ahmed; President of Kuwait Football Federation Sheikh Ahmed Al-Yousef Al-Saud Al-Sabah; President of Bahraini Football Federation Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa; President of the Palestinian Football Federation, Major General Jibril Al-Rajoub; President of the Southern African Union Daniel Jordan; Vice-President of the Omani Football Federation Dr. Jassem Al-Shakaily; Secretary General of the Yemeni Football Federation Dr. Hameed Mohammed al-Shaibani and a number of officials.
Then, the second half started.
After the end of the King Cup Final by Al-Ta'awon's winning of the game with 2/1 over Al-Ettihad, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received a souvenir on the occasion from Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of General Sports Authority.
HRH Crown Prince also received a similar souvenir on the occasion.
The King also received two souvenirs from the two official sponsors of the match, STC and Saudi Arabian Airlines.
The cup referee and his assistants were honored by greeting the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Presidents of the two clubs, their players and officials were also honored by greeting the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
Then, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud handed over the cup trophy to the President of the winning team, Al-Ta'awon.
Following that, the royal anthem was played.
Upon leaving King Fahd International Stadium, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was seen off with hearty hospitable and warm greetings.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup Final was attended by a number of princes and senior officials.
