SPL ASSOCIATION holds cEREMONY TO HONOR THE BEST IN 2018-2019 SEASON on Saturday



Saudi Professional League Association will hold on Saturday, a ceremony to honor the stars of 2018-2019 season, as it will be the first edition of the best of the season awards.
The awards are classified into 6 categories and 20 players and coaches are competing for 4 awards of (The best coach - the best player - the best Saudi player - the best promising player) as 5 are competing in each category, while the golden boot and the golden glove awards will be determined by SPL's Technical Committee.
The five coaches who will compete for the best coach award are: Al-Nasr's Rui Vitoria, Al-Taween's Pedro Manuel, Al-Shabab's Marius Șumudică, Péricles Chamusca Al-Hilal coach and the former coach of Al-Faisaly and Al-Raed's Besnik Hasi.
The five players who will compete for the best promising player award are: Al-Qadsya's forward Haroun Camara, Al-Faisaly's defender Hamdan Al-Shemri, Al-Fateh's midfielder Mohamed Al-Meghed, Al-Taween's defender Meteb Al-Mefrag and Al-Ittihad's Saud Abdel Hamid.
The five players who will compete for the best player award are: Al-Nasr's duo Moroccan Nordin Amrabat and Abdel Razik Hamdalla, Al-Taween's striker Leandre Tawamba, Al-Hilal's striker Bafatembi Gomis and Al-Ahli striker Djaniny Tavares.
The Technical Committee chose five players to compete for the best Saudi player award whose names are: Al-Hilal's Mohamed Kino, Al-Nasr's Sultan Al-Ganam, Al-Raed's Saleh Al-Shehri, Al-Ittihad's Abdel Aziz Al-Beshi and Al-Taween's Abdel Fatah Adam.
It must be noted that, SPL's Technical Committee divided voting into 4 categories, which are Prince Mohamed Bin Salman League for Professionals teams' coaches, teams' captains, sports journalists and the fans, via "Dawry Plus" platform, with a ratio of 25 % of the voting for each.
