SPL Nation's round: Al-Taween, Al-Hilal win .. Al-Shabab draw with Al-Fateh



The third round of Prince Mohammed bin Salman League for Professional Clubs (The Nation's Round) resumed on Thursday with three matches.
Al-Shabab held to a 1-1 draw with Al-Fateh at Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Stadium.
Arthur Cruz gave Al-Shabab the lead after 8 minutes before Mathias Agourigari made it 1-1 in the 25th minute.
At King Abdullah Sport City Stadium, Al-Taween scored a huge 5-3 win over Al-Ittihad.
Al-Taween goals were scored by Gihad Al-Hussien who scored a brace, Heldon Augusto, Leandre Tawamba and Abdel Fatah Adam in the 18th, 43rd, 65th, 75th and 95th minutes while Al-Ittihad goals came through Fahd Al-Moled who netted a double and Abdel Aziz Al-Ariani in the 23rd, 37th and 84th minutes.
Al-Hilal beat their guests Al-Batin 3-1 at King Saud University Stadium.
Ali Al-Belhi opened the score after 32 minutes before Bafatemi Gomis netted a brace in the 41st and 49th minutes on the other hand Chrisitan Da Cruz scored the sole goal of Al-Batin in the 49th minute.
The round games were opened on Wednesday with Al-Nasr 3-0 victory over Al-Qadsya.
The round games will be continued on Friday with three games as Al-Ittifaq will face Al-Fayhaa at Prince Mohamed Bin Fahd Stadium, Al-Faisaly will meet Ohod at ALMajma`a City Stadium and Al-Hazm will visit Al-Ahli at King Abdullah Al Jawhara International Stadium.
The round games will be concluded on Saturday with a game between Al-Raed and their hosts Al-Wahda at King Abdul Aziz Sport City Stadium.
