SPL round 5: Al-Fateh, Al-Raed win



The matches of Round 5 of Prince Mohamed bin Salman League for Professional started on Thursday with two matches.
Al-Fateh recorded their first victory in the season by beating Al-Ittihad 2-0 at Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Sports City Stadium.
Abdel Kader Al-Woslati and Mansour Hamzi netted Al-Fateh goals in the 26th and 99th minutes.
Al-Fateh's total moved up to 6 points while Al-Ittihad's frozen at one point in the 16th spot on the table.
In the second game Al-Fayhaa lost 3-0 at home to Al-Raed at ALMajma`a City Stadium.
Saleh Al-Shehri netted twice for Al-Raed in the 12th and 38th minutes before Ahmed Hamodan made it 3-0 in the 58th minute.
Al-Raed now have 5 points while Al-Fayhaa have only 3 points.
The round games will be resumed on Friday with 4 matches.
Al-Taween the 7th with 5 points will host Al-Shabab the 5th with 8 points at King Abdullah Sport City Stadium.
Ohod the 15th with one point will meet Al-Batin the 14th with the same record at Prince Mohammed bin Abdul Aziz Stadium.
At King Abdullah Al Jawhara International Stadium Al-Ahli the third with 10 points will host Al-Faisaly the 9th with 4 points.
In the fourth game of the day Al-Nasr the second with 12 points will face Al-Hazm the 8th with 5 points at Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Stadium.
On Saturday Al-Qadsya the 10th with 4 points will face Al-Wahda the 6th with 6 points at Prince Saud Bin Jalawi Sport City Stadium.
It must be mentioned that Al-Hilal game with Al-Ittifaq was postponed because of Al-Hilal participation in the Saudi Egyptian super cup against Al-Zamalek on Saturday.
