Al-Raed decide Al-Qassim derby
Al-Raed beat Al-Taween 2-1 in Al-Qassim derby, in the postponed game of the matchday 9, of Prince Mohammed Bin Salman League for Professionals clubs, at King Abdullah Sport City Stadium.
Al-Raed captain Husein Al Shuwaish opened the score after 55 minutes, by converting Abdullah Shamekh cross in the back of the net.
Saleh Alshehri doubled the lead with a shoot from inside the penalty area after receiving a cross from the Moroccan Ahmed Hamoudane, in the 63rd minute, before Jhonnattann Benites closed the gap in the last minute with a consulate goal.
The win moved Al-Raed's total up to 18 points in the 10th place behind Al-Fateh on goal difference, while Al Al-Taween remained with 24 points in the fourth spot.
