Al-Taawoun overcame Damac 2-1 in Prince Mohamed Bin Salman Professionals Cup League matchday 10 on Saturday.

Sandro Manuel put Al-Taawoun in front from the penalty spot in the 45th minute, before Jorge Philipe leveled in the 49th minute.

Manuel gave Al-Taawoun the win in the 7th minute of injury time via another penalty, which was reviewed via Video Assistant Referee (VAR).

Al-Taawoun now have 19 points in the third place temporarily, while Damac remained 16th with 4 points.
