SPL round two opens with two draws, one victory



The matches of the second round of Prince Mohamed Bin Salman League for Professionals started with three games on Thursday.
Al-Ittifaq beat Al-Batin 3-2 at Prince Mohamed Bin Fahd Stadium.
Chrisian Guanca gave Al-Ittifaq the lead two minutes before the end of the first half.
In the second period Hassan Gamal added the second goal in the 68th minute before Aziz Bouhdouz closed the gap in the 74th minute then Fakr Al-Din Bin Youssef made it 3-1 in the 81st minute before Hassan Sharaheli netted Al-Batin's second goal in the 94th minute.
Al-Ittifaq now have four points while Al-Batin's total frozen at one point.
Al-Fateh game with Al-Wahda ended in a goalless draw at Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Sports City Stadium.
Al-Hazm held to a 1-1 draw to Al-Taween at King Abdullah Sport City Stadium in Buraidah.
Rodolfo Almedia netted Al-Hazm goal in the 59th, but Al-Taween's Leandre Tawamba scored the equalizer in the 69th minute.
Another three matches will be played on Friday؛ at Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Stadium, Al-Nasr will meet Al-Faisaly, Al-Shabab will face AL-Fayhaa at ALMajma`a City Stadium and in the final game of the day Al-Ahli will visit Ohod at Prince Mohamed Bin Abdul Aziz Stadium.
The round games will be concluded on Saturday with two games؛ Al-Hilal will visit Al-Raed in the first game at King Abdullah Sport City Stadium while Al-Ittihad will host Al-Qadsya at King Abdullah Sport City Stadium in Jeddah in the second match.
