SPL Round 8: Al-Hilal, Ohod earn victories



The matches of round 8 of Prince Mohammed bin Salman League for Professional Clubs were resumed on Friday with two games.
In the first game, Al-Hilal overcame their hosts Al-Qadsya 2-0 at Prince Saud Bin Jalawi Sport City Stadium.
Salim El-Dossary put Al-Hilal in front from a penalty kick in the 44th minute, before Mohamed Kino doubled the lead in the 66th minute.
Al-Hilal now have 21 points at the top of the league two points ahead of Al-Nasr the second, on the other hand Al-Qadsya remained 15th with four points.
In the second clash Ohod beat their visitors Al-Taween 1-0 at Prince Mohammed bin Abdul Aziz Stadium.
Sami Kasar netted the sole goal of the game for Ohod in the 45th minute.
Ohod moved up to the 14th spot with 5 points while Al-Taween stayed at the 7th place with 12 points.
The matchday games will be concluded on Saturday with Al-Nasr game with Al-Ahli at Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Stadium.
Al-Nasr have 19 points in the second place 3 points ahead of Al-Ahli the third on the table.
