Al-Qadsya announce Ivaylo Petev as new coach



Al-Qadsya have announced Bulgarian Ivaylo Petev will become the club’s next head coach.
Al-Qadsya had been led by Serbian boss Alksander Stagovic.
French assistant coach Lauraent Higest will join the technical staff with keeping the compatriot coach Abdel Aziz El-Bishi also as another assistant coach.
The 54-year-old, who has coached several Bulgarian, Croatian and Cyprus top-flight clubs including Slavia Sofia, Botev Plovdiv, Beroe Stara Zagora, Omonia and Dinamo Zagreb in addition to the Bulgarian national team.
Petev won several titles as a coach including two Bulgarian league titles, one Bulgarian cup title, Bulgarian super cup and Croatian Cup.
For his part, assistant coach Lauraent Higest has an experience in the Saudi football as he worked with Swiss coach Christian Gross at Al-Ahli team.
Al-Qadsya had announced the sacking of Alksander Stagovic and his technical staff following a run of bad results.
