Al Hilal managed to beat Abha 4-2 at King Saud University Stadium, in the first round of MBS professional league.

Abha took the lead in the 20th minute through Faneva Imà Andriatsima, but Al Hilal scored two consecutive goals by French striker Bafetembe Gomez in the 39th and 44th minutes.

Italy's Sebastian Giovinco made it 3-1 with a direct free kick in the 63rd minute, but Saad Bakir pulled one back with a second penalty for Abha, nine minutes before the end.

Syrian striker Omar Kharbin scored the fourth goal for AL Hilal in the 85th minute.

Al Hilal gain their first three points this season, to be at the top of the table temporarily until the end of the rest matches of the round, on the other hand Abha still without points.
