Ten-man Al-Hazm overcome Al-Ahli



Al-Hazm beat Al-Ahli 2-1, in the eighth round of Prince Mohamed Bin Salman Professionals Cup League, on Saturday.

Brahima Tandjia put Al-Hazm in front from a long-range shot after 50 minutes, before Al-Ahli's Abdel Basit Hendi made it 1-1 in the 70th minute with a follow for a ball returned from the opponent's defense.

Mansour Hamzi gave Al-Hazm the victory in the 88th minute, after an individual performance.

Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology canceled a goal for Al-Hazm's Carlos Stranberg, in the 25th minute, as the replay showed Al-Ahli player Abdel Fatah Eseri was fouled.

Al-Hazm's Luiz Moralha was sent off in the 45+3 minute for a foul against Al-Ahli's Djaniny Tavares, who was in a clear position to score a goal.

Al-Hazm reached 13 points in the 6th place, while Al-Ahli's total stopped at 14 points in the 4th spot.
