Two quartets for Al Ahli, Nasr in day two of Round 17 of Prince Mohammed Bin Salman League for Professionals



Eight teams scored 15 goals, in four games played in the second day of Prince Mohammed Bin Salman League for Professionals.
At Al-Batin Stadium, hosts beat Al Faisly with two goals without reply, Abdullah Al Ghamdi broke the deadlock six minutes before the final whitstle, before Crysan da Cruz doubled the lead in injury time, Al-Batin reached the 18th points in the twelfth place on the table, while Al Faisly remained with 24 points in the seventh place.
In the same week, the guests. Al- Nasr scored four goals without reply to seal a comfortable victory over Ohod at Majma'ah Sports City Stadium.
Al-Nasr's four goals were scored by Abderrazak Hamdallah, Sultan Al-Ghanam, Yahya Al-Shiheri and Awadh Khamis in the 16th, 46th, 71st and 78th minutes, to keep them in the second place with 37 points, while Ohod Ohod's points has frozen at 6, in the 16th place.
At King Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium, Al-Wehda opened the score early against Al Hazm, with a goal from Ahmed Abdou after three minutes, before Kennedy Igboananike levelled the result in the 76th minute, Al-Wahda moved up to 28 points, in the 5th place, while Al-Hazm earned their 16th point to stay the 13th place on the table.
At King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, a last-gasp goal by Djaniny Tavares, secured a thrilling victory 4-3 for Al-Ahli over Al-Taawoun.
Abdulfattah Asiri opened the score four minutes before the end of the first half, while the secoond half saw 6 goals, firstlt Al-Taawoun got the lead with two goals were scored by Ibrahim Al-Zubaidi, Jehad Al Hussain in the 56th and 60th minutes, before Tavares and Omar Al Somah turned the score back in Al-Ahli favor in the 64th, 80th minutes, then Héldon Augusto scored for Al-Taawoun in the 85th minute to make it 3-3, before Tavares put his decisive second goal, three minutes before the end of the game.
Al-Taawoun reamined in the 6th place, with 26 points, while Al-Ahli moved its total up to 30 points, in the 4th spot.
The matchday 17 matches will be concluded, Tuesday, with two matches; Al-Raed will meet Al-Ettifaq and Al-Ittihad will host Al-Shabab.
Al-Raed, the 10th on the table, with 22 points, will host its counterpart Al-Ettifaq, the 8th with 23 points, at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
Finally, Al-Ittihad, the 15th with 9 points, will host, Al-Shabab, the 3rd with 32 points, at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.
