SPL Association signs with global sponsor.. Takes charge of the Competitions Committee



The Saudi Pro League Association announced that it delegated by the members of the board of directors of the SPL Association, to sign with one of the global companies, in the coming period to be the sponsor of the Saudi League, starting from the next season, in addition to coordinating with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation to move the management of the Competitions Committee to the SPL Association, by the end of the current season.
The members of the SPL Association board, have kept informed, at their meeting hosted by the Saudi capital, Al-Riadh, which was chaired by the Mosali Al Moamer, the SPL Association president and was attended the executive manager Abdel Aziz El-Homidi, in the presence of 13 members of the board who represent the Prince Mohammed bin Salman League for Professionals clubs, about what has been accomplished in the past period.
This included the draft regulation on governance of the SPL and the clubs, in addition to the financial matters, the administrative and marketing issues, which included signing an agreement with the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, SAIP, signing agreements in the field of social responsibility with a number of bodies, including the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, the Cancer Awareness Association and the General Commission for Audiovisual Media.
The SPL Association signed also a number of agreements with some sports authorities like the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, SAFF, the Saudi Arabian Federation for Electronic and Intellectual Sports in order to invest in the Electronic League and finally signing a deal with EA Sports, which is competent in the field of electronic games.
Mosali Al Moamer, the SPL Association president described the meeting as fruitful that was full of substantive discussions and saw the opinions of the representatives of the clubs have been heard.
He pointed out that the clubs representatives congratulated the SPL Association board members on their marketing plans that target raising the incomes of the clubs in the coming period, in addition to the governance of the SPL Association and the clubs and setting the regulations that govern the relationship between the association and the clubs and the other authorities in sport.
