SPL Round 21: Al-Shabab, Al-Taween, Al-Wahda earn victories



Al-Taween overcame their visitors Al-Batin in style with a 4-1 victory, at At King Abdullah Sport City Stadium.
Abdel Fatah Adam opened the score after 19 minutes, before in the second half the hosts scored three goals from Adam in the 50th minute and Leandre Tawamba in the 70th and 76th minutes.
Jonathan Bentis netted Al-Batin consulate goal to make it 4-1 in the 79th minute.
Al-Taween reached 36 points to displace Al-Ahli from the 4th place on goal difference while Al-Batin remained 13th with 18 points.
At Prince Saud Bin Jalawi Sport City Stadium, Al-Shabab's Gamal El-Ameri scored the sole goal of his team game against Al-Qadsya in the 85th minute to give Riyadh team a precious 1-0 win.
Al-Shabab now have 40 points in the third place, on the other hand Al-Qadsya lie 11th with 23 points.
At King Abdul Aziz Sport City Stadium Al-Wahda secured a 4-1 win over Ohod.
Essam Al-Gibali, Marcos Guilherme (double) and Ahmed Abdou scored Al-Wahda goals in the 29th, 41st, 67th and 74th minutes while Ohohd netted their consulate goal through Ali Al-Asmari in the 60th minute.
Al-Wahda's total moved up to 34 points in the 6th place while Ohohd stayed at the 16th place with 12 points.
The matchday games will be concluded on Saturday with two matches between Al-Raed and Al-Faisaly and Al-Nasr versus Al-Fayhaa.
Al-Raed the 10th with 24 points will meet Al-Faisaly the 9th with 27 points, at King Abdullah Sport City Stadium.
Al-Nasr the second with 43 points, will host Al-Fayhaa the 14th with 16 points, at Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Stadium.
The matchday games were kicked off on Wednesday with Al-Fateh 2-1 win over their visitors Al-Ahli.
On Thursday Al-Hilal overcame Al-Ittihad 2-0 in the classic of the round while Al-Hazm and Al-Ittifaq draw 1-1.
