Asprilla, Fossati, Al-Itthad fans win the best awards of SPL round 26
AL-Fayhaa's forward Danilo Asprilla picked up the best player award of Prince Mohamed Bin Salman League for Professionals round 26.
The Colombian striker was chosen by the Technical Committee of the Saudi Professional League Association, for the first time this season after scoring a brace in AL-Fayhaa 2-1 win over Al-Taween.
The victory led AL-Fayhaa to the 14th place on the table after reaching 25 points.
For his part, Al-Ahli coach Jorge Fossati was named the best coach in the round after leading his team to a huge 4-0 win over Al-Shabab to maintain the 5th place behind Al-Taween the fourth on goal difference in the summit of matchday 26, one point behind Al-Shabab the third.
Al-Ittihad fans won the best fans award for the ninth time this season, as the most winning fans in the season, for their effective attendance to support their team against Al-Batin, at King Abdalla Sports City Stadium, in Jeddah, with 23897 fans.
It must be noted that, the winners of the best awards every round receive 10 thousands SAR for each one, while the best fans get an honorary shield.
