Al-Nasr crowned SPL champions



The matches of Prince Mohamed Bin Salman League for Professionals 2018-2019 season concluded with matchday 30 matches on Thursday with 8 matches, as Al-Nasr beat Al-Batin 2-1, at King Fahd International Stadium, to clinch the title.
Abdel Razik Hamdalla scored Al-Nasr brace in the 26th and 57th minutes, while Zeyad Al-Ewali netted Al-Batin sole goal in the 53rd minute.
Al-Nasr reached 70 points in the first place, while Al-Batin stayed 15th with 25 points.
Al-Hilal overcame A-Shabab 3-2, at King Saud University Stadium.
Al-Hilal goals were scored through Bafatembi Gomis who scored a brace in the 8th and 91st minutes in addition to a goal from Sebstian Giovinco in the 52nd minute, on the other hand Di Fretas and Abdel Megiud Al-Selieham in the 67th and 89th minutes.
Al-Hilal ended the season in the second place with 69 points, while Al-Shabab dropped 5th with 54 points.
Al-Taween beat Al-Faisaly 2-1, courtesy of Gehad Al-Hussien and Leandre Tawamda goals in the 35th and 40th minutes, while Diego Calderon scored Al-Faisaly sole goal in the 25th minute.
Al-Taween ended the season in the third place with 56 points, to book a place in AFC Champions League, while Al-Faisaly stayed 6th with 43 points.
Al-Ahli overcame Al-Ittifaq with 5 goals without reply.
Djaniny Tavares scored a hat-trick in the 38th, 50th and 84th minutes in addition to two goals from Omar Al-Somah and Abdel Rahman Al-Gharib in the 65th and 89th minutes.
Al-Ahli jumped 4th with 55 points to reach AFC Champions League play-off, while Al-Ittifaq remained 11th with 33 points.
Al-Raed earned a huge 4-0 win over Al-Fateh, at Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Sports City Stadium.
Antonio Do Santos, Badr Al-Saltain and Saleh Al-Shehri scored Al-Raed goals in the 8th, 51st, 55th and 65th minutes.
Al-Raed reached 38 points in the 8th place, three points ahead Al-Fateh the 9th.
Ohod ended their campaign in Saudi Professional League with a 1-0 win over Al-Ittihad courtesy of Mohamed Megrshei goal after 9 minutes.
Ohod reached 21 points at the bottom of the table, while Al-Ittihad stayed 10th with 34 points.
Al-Qadsya game with Al-Hazm ended in a 2-2 draw, at Prince Saud bin Jalawi Sports City Stadium.
Deigo Salomou and Rodlfo Almeda scored Al-Hazm goals in the 41st and 44th minutes, while Bismark Ferrera and George Da Silva netted Al-Qadsya goals in the 80th and 87th minutes.
Al-Qadsya were relegated to Prince Mohamed Bin Salman division one League for Professionals after reaching only 28 points, 3 points behind Al-Hazm the 13th who will play the play-off.
AL-Fayhaa beat Al-Wahda 5-2, at ALMajma`a City Stadium.
Nahir Bisara, Danilo Moreno, Omar Al-Mezael scored AL-Fayhaa goals in the 1st, 14th, 30th, 33th and 44th minutes, while Cabongo Cassongo and Abdel Allah Al-Ameri netted Al-Wahda goals in the 24th and 90th minutes.
Al-Fayhaa secured their place in Saudi Professional League after reaching 32 points in the 12th place, while Al-Wahda stayed 7th with 42 points.
