Al-Faisaly, Al-Raed win with the kickoff of Round 14 of SPL



The matches of the 14th round of Prince Mohammed bin Salman League for Professionals kicked off with two matches on Thursday: the first between Al-Raed and Al-Hazm and the second between Al-Faisaly and Al-Wehda.
At King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Buraydah, Al-Raed beat Al-Hazm 1-0, with a goal from Ismael Bangoura in the 60th minute.
Al-Raed climbed one place on the table to become the 11th with 15 points, on the other hand, Al-Hazm, dropped to 12th place on the table, with 14 points.
Al-Faisaly, thrashed its guest Al-Wahda with a 3-0 victory, at at Al Majma'ah Sports City Stadium.
Al-Faisaly goals were scored by: Luisinho, Igor Rossi and and Abdulaziz Al Bishi in the 1st, 17th and 47th minutes.
Al-Faisaly's total moved up to 20 points, in the 7th spot, one point behind Al-Wahda the sixth.
Another 5 matches will be held within the same round the day after tomorrow, Friday: Al-Hilal against Al-Ahli, Al-Shabab against Al-Batin, Al-Qadisiah against Al-Taawoun, Al-Fat’h against Al-Ettifaq and Al-Ittihad against Al-Nasr.
Al-Hilal, the first on the list with 32 points, will meet its guest, Al-Ahli, the 4th with 24 points, at King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh.
Al-Taawoun, the 3rd on the list with 24 points, will be hosted by Al-Qadisiah, the 10th with 17 points, at Prince Saud bin Jalawi Sports City Stadium in Khobar.
Al-Shabab, the 5th with 23 points, will host its counterpart, Al-Batin, the 14th with 11 points, at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh.
Al-Fateh, the 8th with 17 points, will meet its guest, Al-Ettifaq, the 7th with a total of 18 points, at Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Sports City Stadium in Al-Ahsa.
At King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Al-Ittihad, the 15th on the list with 6 points, will host its counterpart, Al-Nasr, the 2nd with 29 points.
The round matches will be concluded on Saturday evening with Al-Fayhaa, the 13th with 12 points, meeting its guest, Ohod, the 16th with 6 points, at Al Majma'ah Sports City Stadium.
